As part of the PtX outreach project in Vietnam, which is being funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Actions (BMWK), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) organized a workshop titled "PtX Global Perspectives and Vietnam GH2 Insights". The aim of this event was to provide a platform for participants to discuss the future direction of the PtX industry in Vietnam by sharing their insights and engaging in a thought-provoking discussion.
Our esteemed director, a distinguished expert in the field, participated in the workshop and delivered a presentation on the preliminary results of the project "Analysis of Ammonia Usage for Power Generation in Vietnam". The objective of this project is to scrutinize the technological and economic feasibility of using green ammonia for electricity generation in Vietnam. This includes an assessment of the potential of co-firing green ammonia in existing coal-fired power plants, as well as using green ammonia to produce electricity directly through a dedicated fuel cell or reforming it to hydrogen and then using fuel cells.
Through his presentation, our director provided valuable insights into the future of PtX while also sparking a stimulating discussion among the participants. The workshop proved to be an excellent opportunity for experts in the field to share their knowledge and collaborate on finding innovative solutions for the future of the PtX industry in Vietnam.
